The Facility Support Assistant is assigned to Facilities Engineering Department at the Minneapolis VA Health Care System. This position is the Store Front for the Department and reports to the Assistant Director of the Facilities Engineering Department. The incumbent performs a variety of administrative tasks associated with maintaining and supporting the work performed within the Facilities Engineering Department. Major duties include, but not limited to: Screen calls for the Facilities Engineering (FE) Department, including emergency and non-emergency calls, vendors, medical center staff, and general inquiries, and direct them to the appropriate personnel.
