This position serves as full time Deputy Chief, Community Care, at the G.V. (Sonny) Montgomery VA Medical Center. The position has direct accountability to the Chief, Community Care. The position is responsible for assisting with all functions as related to Office of Community Care (OCC) medical, inter-facility coordination, Mission Act and other contract services. Duties include, but are not limited to: Exercises supervisory authorities and responsibilities involving work assignment and review, as well as the administrative and personnel management functions relative to the staff which are clearly communicated through the formal employee performance management systems.
