About the Position: This position serves as a Financial Specialist for the U.S. Army Security Assistance Command. The Army's Face to the World, the one-stop focal point for Army FMS, and the international partner of choice in U.S. Security Assistance. Compile financial statements required by local budget, supply management, and/or higher headquarters activities. Monitor unliquidated obligations to effect financial management relative to the cash position and integrity of the funds. Serve as a technical advisor directing the accomplishment of funding within a prescribed program. Revise existing financial policy for improved management of the foreign military sales (FMS) process. Participate in conferences with financial representatives to determine mission policy or procedures.
