You will serve as an IT SPECIALIST (SYSADMIN/APPSW) in the FST ENGINEERING DIV, FST DEPT of Fleet Readiness Center Southeast (Cecil Commerce Center). You will independently determine the feasibility of installing modifications; and schedule implementation to ensure continuity of operations. You will monitor performance data and modifying systems tuning parameters to optimize overall systems performance and correct and prevent problems with the systems environment. You will participate in reviewing current and proposed IT legislation, directives, regulations, and guidance, make recommendations on proper systems design, security and performance areas, and determine the impact of changes to existing systems.
