You will serve as a Contract Specialist of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT. You will review and analyze procurement requests, their specifications or statements of work to determine their adequacy, completeness, and commerciality. You will advise customers during pre-solicitation on the use of contract type, processing of unsolicited proposals, multiple awards, award fee, and special provisions. You will prepare and issue the solicitation and analyzes contractor proposals, comparing them against previous history, actual expenditures, established rates, or via other acceptable cost/price analysis methods You will conduct pre-negotiation conferences (where applicable) with management and technical personnel, and negotiates prices, terms and conditions, contract modifications, and settlements
