You will serve as a Maintenance Mechanic with the National Park Service at Carlsbad Caverns National Park. The primary purpose of the position is to perform building and/or utility maintenance and operation duties. Incumbent utilizes journeyman to master level knowledge and skills in several trades and crafts. Some of the major duties you will perform include but are not limited to the following: AC Equipment Mechanic- The incumbent provides support in the areas of operation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of the large and complex systems utilized for air conditioning and heating various historic and non-historic buildings within the National Park Service.
