You will serve as a MECHANICAL ENGINEER in the Planning, Design, and Construction (PDC) Branch, Resident Officer in Charge of Construction (ROICC) Newport of NAVFAC ENGINEERING CMD MID-ATLANTIC. You will complete complex in-house engineering design packages (i.e. construction drawings, technical specifications, design-build (DB) Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and comprehensive mechanical/plumbing plans for military construction projects). You will manage/review technical submittals, construction documents, and design calculations to ensure strict compliance with Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC), safety regulations, and Navy design standards.
