You will serve as a SHIPBUILDING SPECIALIST in the WATERFRONT OPERATIONS 300 of SOUTHWEST REGIONAL MAINTENANCE CENTER. PAY RANGE GS-11: $85,307-$110,905 GS-09: $70,507-$91,664 You will review and evaluate contractors proposals. You will provide input to/or negotiate labor and material cost. You will conduct technical advisory reviews of contract specifications to evaluate contactor estimates. You will accomplish ship inspections to determine the ships material conditions and the systems and components parts. You will perform long range planning, estimating and accomplish technical analyst of customer and contractor proposals. You will provide prompt communication with waterfront support.
