You will serve as a PRODUCTION SHOP PLANNER (A/C EQUIPMENT MECHANIC) in the Service Shop (Code 990), Production Resources Department Manager (Code 901), Production Resources Department (Code 900) of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD. You will reorder material or obtain it from an alternate source. You will compile work packages that consist of Task Group Instructions (TGI’s), drawings, technical requirements and shop processes/procedures. You will identify effective application of trade resources, efficient utilization of manpower, material, equipment and special tools needed to accomplish specified work tasks.
