You will serve as an Ecologist with Mojave National Preserve. The incumbent serves as a technical advisor in ecology and responsible for program development and implementation. Some of the major duties you will perform include but are not limited to the following: Identify research needs, prepare requests for proposals or statements of work, and provide oversight for research purposes. Develop and conduct scientifically credible protection, mitigation, and restoration projects. Develops and carryout statistically valid data collection protocols for ecological components and processes. Provide clear communication and oral presentations. Duties will be developmental in nature when filled below the full performance level.
