You will serve as a QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST in the INSPECTION, TEST, QUALITY ASSURANCE & TRAINING DIVISION, LIFTING AND HANDLING DEPARTMENT of PORTSMOUTH NAVAL SHIPYARD. ***TEMPORARY POSTION NOT TO EXCEED 1 YEAR AND MAY BECOME PERMANENT WITHOUT FURTHER COMPETITION. *** You will conduct shop investigations, special quality assurance investigations, failure analysis investigations, audits and studies to identify problems underlying causes. You will collect, monitor, analyze and interpret nuclear and non-nuclear statistical quality data, audit findings and Rework expenditures.
