As a Financial Operations Liaison you will be responsible for the following duties: If selected at the GS-09 level, duties will be performed in a developmental capacity. Serves as the primary DLA point of contact for Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) personnel regarding payable/receivable issues related to operations. Processes vendor invoices and billing issues. Researches and resolves Interface Document (IDOC) errors. Resolves outbound payment and inbound collection discrepancies. Validates proper posting of payments with DFAS. Inputs manual obligation documents. Reviews period-close information as part of the period pre-close procedure at month end.
