You will serve as a COMBINED TRADES SUPERVISOR I in the Production Resources Department of of PSNS and IMF. You will supervise work crews consisting of employees from various Shops and Codes in the shipyard. You will assign work to subordinates and instruct workers on requirements, methods, and procedures to accomplish assigned tasks. You will inspect work while in progress and upon completion. You will change work plans, assignments, and methods as necessary to reduce or control costs and maintain the work schedule. You will determine what work needs to be turned over to the next shift and ensure that the nature and scope of work is communicated clearly.
