About the Position: Serves as a Logistics Management Specialist in the Special Requirements Branch of the Domestic Movement Operations Division, Operations directorate, Military Surface Distribution and Deployment Command. Incumbent ensures Army Transportation Command responsiveness to the need for operational readiness as identified by senior leadership and under any type of sustainment operation, planning contingency, national emergency or wartime situations. Provides technical advice and readiness under any type of planning contingency for movement of forces, sustainment cargo and non-DOD sponsored cargo moving throughout CONUS.
