This position is located in the Service and Motor Transportation Unit of the Operations Section in the Engineering Service of the Lebanon VA Medical Center, Lebanon, Pennsylvania. The work includes the operation of gasoline, diesel, or electronic powered wheeled vehicles to haul cargo and fuel or to tow or recover equipment. The vehicles are driven in restricted traffic environments on Government installations, over public roads and highways, or under cross-country conditions. The major duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: Operating wheeled vehicles, wheel-mounted tractors; or engineering and construction equipment with wheel or crawler-type tractions.
