The purpose of this position is to operate motor vehicles and assist the Public Health Nurses (PHN) in home visits, health education, school and clinic visits. Provides Navajo and English interpretation for staff and community in homes, clinics and meetings. This position is located in the Public Health Nursing Unit at the Chinle Comprehensive Healthcare Facility, Chinle, Arizona. A REAL ID will be required beginning May 7, 2025, in accordance with 6 C.F.R. 37.5 (2021). Drives a diesel driven cab-chassis truck with an actual GVW of 26,000 lbs. x 40 feet in length, (medical mobile van) 1⁄2 ton pick-up trucks, vans, and sedans, to carry out the objectives of the work unit.
