The position serves as the Laundry Leader for the Sioux Falls VA Health Care System (SFVAHCS). The employee leads workers engaged in laundry and linen operations, including processing, distribution, equipment operation, and associated support programs. The position performs nonsupervisory laundry and textile care work and provides day-to-day technical direction to a multi grade team. Major duties include: Works alongside staff and sets the pace for production, quality, and compliance with safety and infection control procedures.
