The Training Specialist position is located within the Office of Community Care (OCC) at the VA Eastern Colorado Healthcare System, and reports directly to the Deputy Chief of Administration, OCC. The incumbent develops and implements all training and serves as the point of contact and super user of all programs associated with OCC. The incumbent manages all orientation activities, remediation of problem employees, and documentation of orientation. Duties include, but not limited to: Develops and implements training modules on OCC operations to support continuity of care for Veterans, tailored for new and existing direct care employees, including inpatient/outpatient staff, CBOC MSAs, HBAs, Travel clerks, and other medical center personnel (clerical, administrative, and clinical)....
