Serves as a full deputy supervisory position which shares fully in the duties, responsibilities, and authorities of the Commander, DLA Energy East Pacific. Managing the distribution of bulk petroleum products; developing, coordinating, and implementing programs that support region-wide petroleum supply, storage, transportation, and quality surveillance. Executing bulk fuel and additives contract administration. Supervising facilities maintenance and repair projects funding and execution. Overseeing bulk petroleum Defense Fuel Support Point (DFSP) operations and management during normal and contingency operations. Negotiating petroleum support agreements in the theater with foreign governments and military services.
