See below for important information regarding this job. As a Contract Specialist, you will be responsible for the following duties: Determine milestones to administer assigned contracts. Evaluate post-award requests and determines appropriate action. Make final determinations on delivery schedule changes, waivers, deviations, mistakes in bid/offer protests, price revisions, premium payments, discrepancies, rejection of first article, substitution, etc. Administer contracts that have special handling provisions, specialized terms and conditions, unique items and a variety of contracting methods. Attend pre-award negotiations. Prepare solicitations for contract negotiations. Evaluate vendor submissions to bids.
