The position is located in the Facilities Management Service of the Nebraska Western Iowa VA Health Care System at the Omaha VA Medical Center. The primary function of the Air Conditioning Equipment Mechanic Supervisor is to serve in a supervisory role with first level authority over an organizational segment responsible for operating and maintaining a 24/7 chiller plant that includes multiple large capacity chillers, air handlers, and rooftop units. Major duties of the A/C Equipment Mechanic Supervisor include, but are not limited to: Coordinates with Engineering and AC Shop personnel to plan and schedule maintenance activities.
