About the Position: As a Tying Tool Repairer within the Vicksburg District, Operations Division, River Operations Branch, Mat Sinking Unit you will repair automatic tying tools used in the construction of articulated concrete mattresses. -The duty location will be wherever the Mat Sinking Unit is located. -This position is a Permanent, Full-Time, Seasonal Appointment. -The position is advertised externally under Vacancy CEDC-26-13045494-DHA. Perform repairs to automatic tying tools which are utilized in the construction of articulated concrete mattress. Diagnose, replace parts, adjust, clean for tools to return to operating condition. Read and interprets blue prints and shop manuals pertaining to tying tools. Utilize common hand tools of the mechanic's trade in making repairs.
