You will serve as a SUPERVISORY GENERAL ENGINEER in the ASSISTANT PORT ENG BRANCH (N75A) of MILITARY SEALIFT COMMAND. You will review shipboard maintenance management systems status and accomplishment rates with the Chief Engineer. You will evaluate ship generated voyage repair requests and regulatory body deficiencies, conducts ship checks to verify actual condition and provides input and analysis to the Principal Port Engineer (PPE). You will plan and schedule assigned work based on approved ship voyage repair requirements and operating schedules. You will exercise direct technical and administrative supervision over staff engineers and supporting technical and clerical personnel. You will provide a full range of supervision of personnel in the Assistant Port Engineer (APE) Branch.
