Incumbent will serve as a Maintenance Mechanic in the Engineering Service at the Oklahoma City VA Healthcare System. He/she will perform the duties of a fully trained construction specialist, performing various tasks from written and oral instructions. Work consists of reading and interpreting blueprints, sketches, and drawings and performing material takeoffs for ordering various sizes of projects. Work consists of, but is not limited to: Processing work assignments and is normally free to use own judgment and initiative in completing assignments.
