This position is located in the Special Investigations unit of the Principal Assistant Inspector General for Investigations, Office of Inspector General, which is responsible for conducting investigations of alleged fraud, waste, and abuse within the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT), its programs, and its grantees. If selected for this position, you will be responsible for planning, directing and conducting complex investigations of suspected fraud, waste, and abuse, and mismanagement in programs of DOT, as well as a variety of proactive investigations, including fraud prevention and detection surveys.
