You will serve as a MECHANICAL ENGINEER in the Electromagnetic Aircraft Launch System (EMAL)/Advanced Arresting Gear (AAG) Performance Engineer in the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, Systems Engineering (SE) & Aircraft Launch Readiness Equipment(ALRE) Group, ALRE Department, Ford Class Launch & Recovery Division (BL11200) of NAVAIRWARCENADLKE. You will provide technical expertise in establishing MK 15 arresting gear test plans and programs which will achieve the objective of operational compatibility with the aircraft. You will use computerized data analysis techniques and transform raw test data into performance charts/equations. You will act as technical advisor to aircraft manufacturing contractors concerning all phases of recovering aircraft
