This position is located at the VA Boston Healthcare system, Jamacia Plain Campus. The Lead Motor Vehicle Operator is both a Motor Vehicle Operator and Lead and will fill in as a driver and as required. The Lead Motor Vehicle Operator provides work leadership, coordinates and schedules maintenance of all station vehicles assigned to the section in order to maintain satisfactory mechanical condition and cleanliness of vehicles. The Motor Vehicle Operator makes recommendations concerning leave in a manner that will afford proper work coverage. The Lead Motor Vehicle operator is responsible for a variety of administrative duties as directed.
