You will serve as a Hydroelectric Mechanic with Bureau of Reclamation. This position is located within the Department of the Interior, Bureau of Reclamation, Lower Colorado Region, Parker Dam Field Division, PARKER DAM,CALIFORNIA You may be required to work on-call, evenings, weekends, holidays, overtime and shift work. Performs work involved in maintaining, testing, and repairing all equipment in a hydroelectric powerplant and pumping stations. Overhauls, repairs, evaluates, and performs tests on turbines, generators, motors, air compressors, pumps, pressure regulators, eductors, valves, pipes, penstocks, intakes, spillways, diversion dam, and waterway gates including appurtenant mechanical controls.
