You will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (LER) in the Business and Strategic Planning Office (1200), Business Operations Division (KA1220) of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD. You will provide input on decisions, which have an impact on overall HR policy at serviced commands. You will serve as consultant to management on all ER (Employee Relations)/LR (Labor Relations) issues with overall responsibility for resolving controversial, complex problems. You will provide authoritative technical assistance and solutions to problems/issues. You will coordinate and/or prepare responses to external program review findings and recommendations regarding sensitive issues.
