You will serve as a NONDESTRUCTIVE TEST INSPECTOR LEADER in the Nondestructive Test Division (Code 135.2), Quality Assurance Office (Code 130) of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD. You will independently perform complex nondestructive testing and analysis on nonroutine mechanical components, piping systems, and structural assemblies related to Naval Surface Ships and submarines and nuclear propulsion plants. You will utilize the most advanced test methods and procedures in solving the most complex inspection problems. You will perform inspections on Nuclear Reactor Plant components and systems such as coolant system and pressurizing piping, pumps and valves, heat exchangers, and steam generators, as well as other critical ship systems.
