You will serve as a Nuclear Engineering Technician in the NDT Engineering Branch, Welding & Nondestructive Testing, Quality Assurance Office, Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Kittery, Maine. You will serve as NAVSEA Staff NDT Examiner, certified as Level III Examiner in two or more of the following testing methods: Visual/Dimensional, Magnetic Particle, Liquid Penetrant, Ultrasonic, Radiography, and Eddy Current. You will be accountable for the qualification, examination, and certification of all NAVSEA non-nuclear and dual certified (non-nuclear and nuclear) civilian NDT Level III examiners within the public shipyards and Trident Refit Facilities.
