This position is assigned to the Carpentry and Maintenance Mechanic Shop in the Facilities Management Service Line. The position is responsible for maintenance and repair of the total lock system, lock maintenance, lock installation, latches, and strike plate repair requirements for MEDVAMC and its outer lying campus buildings. Position is subject to call back during off duty hours for irregular or emergency situations. Performs routine and priority repairs and installation of all types of locking devices. Perform preventative maintenance work on all automatic doors and locking devices.
