You will serve as a ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN in the RAPID INNOVATION BRANCH (Code 100TO.32) WITHIN THE TRANSFORMATION OFFICE (Code 100TO) of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD. You will serve as the senior technical authority for advanced rapid prototyping and manufacturing. You will develop complex Computer-Aided Design models and Technical Documentation Packages for manufacturing. You will analyze engineering drawings and legacy components to determine optimal manufacturing strategies, using 23 scanning and reverse engineering to recreate obsolete parts.
