This vacancy announcement may be used to fill positions at various Department of the Navy Commands, including but not limited to Marine Corps and Commander, Navy Installations. You will establish a safe perimeter around a hazardous material incident to protect self and others. You will operate firefighting equipment (e.g., pumps, foam generators, boom, ground sweep nozzles) to control or eliminate fires. You will position firefighting vehicles in consideration of external factors (e.g., wind direction, sources of water, hazards from falling structures, location of armament on aircraft).
