About the Position: Serves as a working leader of (2) XF-08 Cooks, (2) XF-07 Cooks, and (2) XF-06 Shipkeeper positions assigned to a dredge engaged in 24 hour a day dredging operations. NOTE: This position is a Permanent, Full-Time Seasonal Appointment. Plans work in relation to and follows work procedures provided by supervisor with latitude for making minor deviations from normal work methods. Sets pace of work for cooks and shipkeepers, taking into consideration work to be accomplished. Checks work in progress for compliance with instructions and notifies supervisor of any changes in work practice that may lead to a reduction of cost to the operation.
