About the Position: Serve as a Powered Support Systems Mechanic for the US Army Military District of Washington, The Army Aviation Brigade, 12th Aviation Battalion Maintenance Shops Division. Operate a variety of boom cranes, forklifts, and Class C Vehicles. Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance. Repair or replace parts and components of various aviation ground support equipment. Conduct training and qualifies military and civilians on ground support equipment at operator's level. Perform operational inspections, and ensures vehicles and equipment are properly serviced and other preventive maintenance performed, as scheduled. Operate a variety of heavy lift forklifts, requiring OSHA certification for power industrial forklift.
