You will serve as a Maintenance Worker within the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Port Louisa National Wildlife Refuge in Wapello, Iowa. The primary purpose of this position is to perform a variety of intermediate construction, rehabilitation and maintenance work. First time hires to the Federal government normally start at the step 1 rate. Some of the major duties you will perform include but are not limited to the following: Completing repairs to building and facility electrical systems such as lighting and power fixtures, wiring, fire or water alarm systems, and emergency power systems.
