This Motor Vehicle Operator position is in the Environmental Management Service under the direct leadership of its supervisor at the Robley Rex Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) located in Louisville Kentucky. Major duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: Operate a truck or van equipped with a hydraulic tail lift. Perform fluid checks on vehicle and a general outer inspection and report all discrepancies to the vehicle maintenance shop for disposition. Complete trip tickets back and forth from the main hospital building and the laundry. Empties soiled linen chutes in the basement of the main hospital building and delivers the soiled items to the laundry building.
