This position is located in the Business Office at the Yakama Service Unit in Toppenish, Washington. The incumbent serves as a Billing Technician responsible for processing claims on-line to third party carriers which include Medicare, Medicare Part D, Medicaid and all other third-party payors. A REAL ID will be required beginning May 7, 2025, in accordance with 6 C.F.R. 37.5 (2021). Process insurance billing functions including prior authorizations, claim preparation, demographic verification, and third-party insurance data entry to ensure accurate and timely reimbursements.
