This position is located within the G4 at FMS #36, in Houston , TX. The purpose of this position is to perform maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, inspection, and/or overhaul of a variety of combat, tactical, commercial, and special purpose vehicles and equipment. Texas is one of 9 states with NO state income tax. As a Surface Maintenance with the Texas National Guard, your duties will include, but will not be limited to: Troubleshoots, performs maintenance and major repairs on heavy-duty mobile equipment, combat, tactical and automotive vehicles.
