About the Position: Serves as a Budget Analyst for the Budget Execution Branch located on Fort Sam Houston, Texas. This is a TERM appointment not to exceed thirteen (13) months. Reviews, verifies, and analyzes data submitted for consistency with financial and program objectives, and adherence to instructions. Identifies trends and coordinates analysis with supervisor recommending reprogramming or referrals as appropriate. Reviews Headquarters Operating Budgets and aligns programmed resources with budget estimate and identifies/reconciles differences. Prepares Fiscal summaries in the form of computer graphics, composes various executive summaries, information and decision papers. Administers Headquarters' Defense Travel System and Government Travel Credit Card Programs.
