About the Position: As an accountant for the Vicksburg District has overall responsibility for the maintenance and preparation of Financial Statements, and control systems pertaining to the various accounting entities. Provide program and district managers with accurate and timely financial information Initiate and recommends procedures and policies to prevent fraud, waste, and abuse of resources. Prepare monthly, data for our local quality assurance team. Direct accounting technicians and other accountants in preparation of accounting data required by the various organizational Certifie propriety and availability of funds prior to the release of the obligating documents.
