The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a Motor Vehicle Operator. Responsibilities include but not limited to operating a Mobile Medical Unit (MMU) at VA Texas Valley Coastal Bend Health Care System (VATVCBHCS) locations. Operates the Mobile Medical Unit (MMU), which requires knowledge of state and federal driving regulations and the ability to operate the motor vehicle safely in various road conditions and situations. Plans each route using maps to select the most efficient route for each trip. Valid CPR, BLS or appropriate resuscitation certificate to recognize various emergency medical situations, such as heart attacks, strokes, etc., to perform basic life support.
