You will serve as a INSTRUMENT MECHANIC in the PRODUCTION RESOURCES DEPARTMENT, ELECTRICAL SHOP of PORTSMOUTH NAVAL SHIPYARD. You will receive assignments from the supervisor concerning the priority of systems or devices to be repaired. You will comply with all environmental, security, safety, and administrative requirements. You will conduct bench tests; adjusting and calibrating instruments. You will disassemble instruments/components; inspecting for worn or damaged parts.
