About the Position: Incumbent is assigned to a diesel/electric powered, self-propelled Class I pipeline dredge. Incumbent will be assigned to the Engine Room and stands a regular watch with the shift engineer and electrician. NOTE: This position is a Permanent, Full-Time Seasonal Appointment. Conduct gauge and/or thermometer readings of machinery and prepares shift logs reflecting oil pressures and oil and water temperatures. Make minor and routine repairs to engine room diesel operating machinery and equipment. Remove excess grease and oil from machinery and deck. Fit grease gun heads over grease fitting and injects grease by hand pump.
