The Motor Vehicle Operator (MVO) position is located at the Tomah, WI VA Medical Center and operates patient transport vehicles, including emergency vehicles, patient transport vans/buses and other types of transport vehicles. Duties include: Operates passenger bus with a minimum capacity of 16 passengers, equipped with air brakes and hydraulic lifts used to load wheelchair passengers; sedans, mini-vans, 12 passenger vans equipped with wheelchair lifts, patient litters, portable cots, and O-2; 8, 5, and 4 passenger medical transport vans equipped with portable cots and O-2 under 26,000 pounds GVWR in support of patient, staff, and material transport to various medical facilities and outside state organizations.
