The position is at the full performance level located in the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration (VHA), at the Greater Los Angeles VA Medical Center (VAMC) in the CERS: HUD-VASH program. This is an Open Continuous Announcement. Applications will be reviewed and referred at regular intervals as vacancies occur. The primary purpose of the Housing Management Assistant is to link Veterans in the HUD VASH program to permanent housing. The Housing Management Assistant will establish and maintain relationships with landlords, private agencies, non-profit agencies, and governmental agencies who serve the homeless, as well as VA staff who work with Veterans in need of transitional or permanent housing.
